Projects and Selected Works
A selection of projects that showcase my approach to site-specific interiors, custom-built furniture, and woodworking that integrates technology into the design. Each project is designed, built, and installed with care for real homes and everyday use.
Custom-built interiors
Custom-built furniture allows you to make the most of a room. By tailoring dimensions, materials, and details to the room, we create solutions that are both practical and feel natural in your home.
This could include closets, bookshelves, storage, or other interior solutions where every piece is built to fit perfectly. The result is something that feels well-thought-out and stands the test of time.
"Paul managed to turn our idea into both a sturdy structure and a stylish design. He worked based on our needs but also suggested improvements along the way. The end result was a built-in wardrobe that we’re very happy with!"
Johan Lundberg – Vellinge
Custom-made furniture
Custom-built furniture offers the opportunity to create something that fits the room perfectly. Instead of adapting the room to the furniture, the furniture is designed to fit the room.
ag builds tables, benches, cabinets, and other furniture from scratch using carefully selected materials. Every project is about finding the right proportions, function, and aesthetic so that the furniture feels like a natural part of its surroundings.
"We had found a beautiful piece of raw oak that we wanted to turn into a simple TV stand. Paul built us a fantastic piece of furniture, exactly as we had imagined."
Ernst van Weperen – Haarlem, Netherlands
A woodworking shop where technology is an integral part of the design
In some projects, technology is integrated directly into the furniture or interior design. This may involve discreet LED lighting, concealed wiring, or other technical solutions that are planned right from the design stage.
When technology and woodworking are planned together from the start, the result is both more functional and more visually cohesive.
The goal is to create solutions where technology is there when needed, but does not dominate the aesthetic.
"For our small loft apartment with low ceilings, we wanted a bed with storage and built-in lighting. Paul designed a beautiful Japanese-inspired bed with large wooden beams and built-in LED lights. It fits perfectly in the room!"
Henk de Vries – Zwolle, Netherlands
